Re: Dirt: Rally, MXS League.

Damnit. I thought I was doing well after the 4th stage, being able to get 11 secs away from your lead Servatis, but then you shifted to freaking warp drive for the last two stages.

Re: Dirt: Rally, MXS League.

I'd vote for 80s RWDs or some nutty class like group B or the hillclimb cars in rally stages if that's possible.
Either week or weekend per stage is fine for me.

Re: Dirt: Rally, MXS League.

Ahhh! Greece, my achilles' heel, did surprisingly well though. These 4WD cars are way easier than RWDs here. I even got the fastest time on stage 5.

How badly did you mess up there, Servatis?

Damnit! Two mistakes in stages 1 and 3 cost me too much.

Re: Dirt: Rally, MXS League.

It's fine though, I was losing like 15-30 secs per stage. No amount of car upgrades is gonna save me.

Re: Dirt: Rally, MXS League.

Had to buy a car for that class, and only drove enough to get the advanced setup upgrade before hitting the Finland stages. These are way different than the RWD cars I've driven with almost exclusively in Dirt Rally.

Re: 2015-10-06 snapshot

I'm getting huge amounts of Z-fighting with the recent snapshots for some reason. Any idea what might cause that?

Re: 3d animation/renders

Thanks man. The plastics are definitely my favorite parts too, and were an interesting bit to work on. They're not perfect by any means, but they also were the first parts I've ever done using the SW freeform tool. Took a couple of retries to get the hang of it, but it's one awesome tool. I plan to ...

Re: 3d animation/renders

Only took me two years to get motivated to continue working on the bike model. Worked on the handlebars some yesterday and today. Still a lot of detailing missing and the clutch lever plus clamp needs to be reworked. http://i.imgur.com/19wXWsY.png http://i.imgur.com/JDXhCuj.png I've a feel...

http://forum.mxsimulator.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11881&hilit=duct#p264616 Follow the 2nd step and apply the large address aware patch. I've done that to every mxsim snapshot for ages and it's completely eliminated the out of virtual memory errors. Just be aware that if you go over the vram amount yo...

Re: Separate high and low speed compression damping

Bumppp! Still think the best approach would be to allow adjusting for the speed thresholds, especially since it is adjustable in real life.

Re: Weight Lifting

This isn't meant to sound rude or anything, but why do you guys work out like this? Do you just want more muscle? I asked one of my friends who has his own schedule and eating plan, and he really didn't have an answer other than to be healthy. I can see working out, but I'd rather be doing cardio o...
