Well this one is a first for me. Just noticed i might not have an YZ engine, instead i got a same year WR450F engine. That explains the fact its a 5 speed instead of a 4 speed and also now i know what the thing on the side of the stator cover is, its a fucking starter clutch...never payed any attent...

anyone who does this a lot, can you take out the crank without an pulley system thing? I know you basictly could tab the thing with something softer but dont know what else is there.

For one days work and first taking apart a 450 im happy as fuck, nothing broken and everything worked out quite good.

Just sold my Oneal Underdog and EVS RC3 for a bit of bike repair money. Hopefully new Alpine A-8 and the BNS gets here soon from germany, those two cost half as much as the local store here. Only need new chain, maybe some bearings (hopefully not a lot) and a nice wiseco piston and gaskets ofc. Not ...

I bet they will look fine and atleast better than the old ones (even tho i used to love racing the old stock models )
