Thanks!!
Re: 2011-11-21 snapshot
Cooter thats how i understand it, i dont think the rider physically moves forward/back more but the weight transfer is greater and has more effect the higher the mass is set,and you're right a high setting is slower to change direction,it also produces more reaction from bumps, accelerating and decelerating forces that makes the ride less stable, but you got the potential for more control and grip if you dont get pushed outashape first!Cooter181 wrote:Is that what rider mass does? I thought it simply located where the mass of your body weight was located, lower was more weight down low (your legs) and higher vice versa. Was I way off?ShackAttack12 wrote:You want your rider hanging off the back fender?karlwb wrote:and add to the upper range of rider mass distribution please, currently range is 33-50,up to 53 would be nice!
@shack i dont need more rear grip, the 450f bites hard, its goes skyward too quick cos of a little dip i would never notice on 250f , but i really want to shift more weight over the front at times.

Your suggestion did not work but I right clicked "mxbin" and went to properties, permissions, and checked the box that says "allow executing file as program" and it worked (I have to click "mxbin" now not "mx"). Thanks for your help anyways. It made me go into the permissions area looking for the answer.jlv wrote:You probably need to give it execute permission. "chmod +x mxbin" should do it.astone977 wrote:I cannot figure out how to do this for linux!!! I am downloading the one for linux, renaming it "mxbin" and replacing the old one with it and when i double click "mx" the game normally loads but the computer acts as if nothing at all has happened. I put the old mxbin back in and it started fine. What am i doing wrong??? someone please help because I want 450's for the 20 hr. drive home from mini o's to New York!!

I'm gonna be "THAT GUY"... Are 250 2 strokes planned? Those would be sick And these 450's should add a few more years of playtime for me haha

Have you even read the thread, GUY?

X2, they still feel kinda soft on the 450...DJD wrote:Need.....Stiffer......Forks......Please. I think we need a much broader range for all suspension settings.

Just donwladed this snap, wasn't here before,
I have some issues, every 5 seconds i have some freeze, erven if i'm at 125 fps, or at low res, it's the same !
Thought of my ati cards, but when i came back to the older snap, they was no freeze at all....
Any idea ?
Thanks

i think only forks needs to be stiffer but after riding on 450 i fell 250s to hard so if you can make 250 specialy rear softer its hard on bumpsThe Fox wrote:X2, they still feel kinda soft on the 450...DJD wrote:Need.....Stiffer......Forks......Please. We really need to adjust high and low speed dampening as well.mbork-1 wrote:The Fox wrote:X2, they still feel kinda soft on the 450...DJD wrote:Need.....Stiffer......Forks......Please. I think we need a much broader range for all suspension settings.

Good day Gens,
after i took a long break in playing and from the community i must say the 450´s are a real great advance in the Gameplay. It is long ago since I had so much fun and at least I arrive on every critical jump for the 250´s
A big thanks to you JLV
Kind Regards
Sonnette

Hard to see how any of these changes would have done that. What version did you revert to?Cobra wrote:Just donwladed this snap, wasn't here before,
