2015-04-13 snapshot

Post by jlv »

Changes:
  • Fixed disappearing legs bug.
Windows users: http://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mx-2015-04-13-1259.exe
Linux users: http://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mxbin-2015-04-13-1259

Replace mx.exe or mxbin with one of the above files. The default location for mx.exe should be "C:\Program Files (x86)\MX Simulator". I'd keep a backup of the originals since these aren't well tested.

The bug fixed in this version was making some invalid floating point numbers, so it could have easily caused performance problems. If you were experiencing low FPS with the last version let me know if this fixed it.

Was so close to cry first time I started with this one. I went into 01, and got SOLID 8-10 FPS. So I checked all my settings (the nvidia ones as well) to see so I didn't forget something important. Nothing there. Restarted the game 20 times connected / reconnected etc. I rode the same tracks offline (single player) and there was 0 lag. 03 worked fine, just 01 online that lagged for some reason. Changed back to my old snapshot, worked fine. A few hours later I download this one again and tried, now flawless. Not sure what it was haha. Maybe downloaded some other snapshot by accident, no idea. Working good now at least.

With the other snapshots, I would always be on 125fps but it wouldn't be smooth, like there would be frame skips or something. This snap is a lot smoother thanks!

ive found that ive had the opposite of what this snap is intended to do. most servers ive gone on have been laggy and i havent changed any of my graphics settings. what i run is usually 70-90 fps sometimes more. now it spikes some times down to 20 then up to 40-50. maybe i need to re download it but im running the old snapshot for now to see if its any better

I seem to get 8fps every now and then when connecting to a server. RAM goes to 6.5-7GB usage (usually around 4). Restarting the game and it's all fine...

I don't know if this is a snapshot issue or not, but lately, anytime a play a game with my controller, sim won't recognize that my controller's there. I always have to restart my PC
