hey guys.
i have noticed lately that my game has started to run worse. maaybe it´s because of all the bigger tracks.
now for example i ride the 2016 rd 6 san diego sx. alone. single player.
the game flows fine except with a small lagg like 4-5 seconds apart. enough to make the whoops and turns turn to crap every now and then.
i do believe that my computer should have no problem with this game. it does play battlefield 4 very well.
Intel Core i5 3570K 3,4Ghz (Ivy Bridge)
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 2048MB OC
Corsair 8GB (2x4096MB) CL9 1600Mhz VENGEANCE
could it be my ssd who is causing trouble?
or could it be my screen that is to slow?
what kind of computer do i need. frame rate problem

Well what kind of screen do you have? Because so far it sounds like screen tearing so far

My guess is that vsync is on, feels horrible on this game for whatever reason.

Make sure you don't have "ground texture resolution" above 256x256.

I have a GTX 780 and don't run the high detail tracks because the looks aren't worth the hit for online. Not that I play online anymore.
Re: what kind of computer do i need. frame rate problem
how do i turn off vsync?
Re: what kind of computer do i need. frame rate problem
i thought it was an in game setting. but i guess it´s on my graphics card settings. i turned the vertical syng to off.
and i didnt notice it just on a quick ride just now.
thanks for the hep guys. but i still think i need a new screen. 20" is just to small.

Re: what kind of computer do i need. frame rate problem
If it's only occurring on the larger tracks, you could most easily solve the lag issue by simply deleting things from the track file that are not necessary for gameplay on that track, like billboards, statues, etc.

I don't know if this works on desktops, I think it doesn't, but make sure that you're not using the integrated graphics to run the game. Check in the Nvidia control panel.
