Hey guys, Been playing Demo For about a month,And Got The Full Game Now, Just started SX and found it really tough,, but i managed to find a setup that made it alot easier,, So i though i would share it with you guys,, it was made from The Base SX setup that was poster earlier, so thanx to that dude for that,

Code: Select all

stability=20
leveling=30
roll_damping=37.50
roll_limit_angle=50.25

steering_damping=45
steering_strength=75
max_steering_force=425
direct_steering=1
slow_damping_speed=42
slow_damping_factor=1.75
land_damping_falloff=0.19
land_damping_factor=1.39
auto_clutch_rpms=5000
brake_torque=250
rear_brake_torque=250
max_dab_speed=20
front_sprocket_adjustment=0.000000
rear_sprocket_adjustment=2.000000
fork_compression_adjustment=36.000000
fork_rebound_adjustment=52.000000
fork_spring_rate_adjustment=41.000000
fork_preload_adjustment=33.000000
fork_oil_level_adjustment=33.000000
shock_compression_adjustment=48.000000
shock_rebound_adjustment=55.000000
shock_spring_rate_adjustment=44.000000
shock_preload_adjustment=37.000000
rider_yspring=56.000000
rider_ydamping=55.000000
rider_zspring=60.000000
rider_zdamping=57.000000
rider_mass_distribution=0.44
I only use this on the KTM 125 2 Stroke, , Which Id like to add is a amazing peice of work Well Done TO Those Guys/guy
And Tested (Horribly) By Me on Indianapolis SX, Which Also Is A Well Made Track!
I recomend You Get The MXS Bike Setup Application (v2.3 23-feb-2010)
And Just copy and paste, and save it as a new Scheme/setup (This Only Works For Full Game I Belive, Becuase Of Folder/file Names)

I think You Should Try Lots Of Setups, look Above, But Without Arcade Mode, And If Possible Use a Controller, And have 100 Stability, Then When U dont fall so much, lower It By 10 and do the same, until u reach 20 then lower by only 3-4 Until you can ride great on 5 or something, and start With The 125 2 strokes

I am working on one now and like it a lot. It is super loose feeling but has a lot of traction yet still makes it through the whoops pretty well. The shock settings are straight up stolen from shack (this is what makes it behave well in the whoops). It still has a bit of a knifing problem though.

No motocross settings for me yet but I wanted to post my Supercross settings that I absolutely love. All I can say is, wow, the bike matters a lot in this game. The YZf has nice power but I can only get it to handle well on certain tracks. It usually ends up feeling 50 lbs heavier than the rest under braking, with the bakc sapping all over the place if the ground even hints at being bumpy. The other three handle well pretty much everywhere but I feel like they lack power compared to the YZf. Instead of changing my settings around I just leave this base setting and change the bike around to see which is best on a track. I like the behavior of this setup in turns so much I don't want to change anything, haha.

I was always washing out and having low traction issues but as soon as I put all preload, front and back, down to zero, a lot of that cleared up. Now I have lots of traction and can clear most of the shack lines.

Heres my easy to ride setup. I made it in one go so of course there is room for improvement, but ive ridden with it for some time and it feels really stable. Especially on the harder tracks like Mantova etc. I made it for those like me who have an old shitty controller or kb and/or are tired of crashing to much.. Would be nice if someone is willing to try it and give me some feedback... and you can still whip it big so dont worry about that. :lol:
