Re: mxserver-2010-02-06
Cool, I'll have to set one up again. For some reason I guess I deleted the one I had before (must have been when I switched systems).

the gate thingy doesnt work for me, it says unknown command when ppl try to use it
Re: mxserver-2010-02-06
I'm going to try to make a tutorial on how to setup a server, it seems like a lot of people are really confused on how to (not sure why...).

good work jlv, yzmxer608 for the tutorial .
another aspect i wanna suggest , some times the server its running in a server, and the admin cant enter the game to put order or change the track, will be good for the admin can write commands in the mxserver windows .
btw, jlv , i can how i can do to log in to file , whats going on in the server , like ppl join , say etc . can add like results.txt , but loging the chat for example

Run it like this:
mxserver --args-file serverargs.txt 2>log.txt
If you want to understand how redirection works, read this.

perfect, i uderstand redirection , to be honest i dont try it before ask .
other things,
1) to add multiples admins -- admin xxx yyy or --admin xxx --admin yyy the same for --reserve ?
2) how work marshalls and implement it

Re: mxserver-2010-02-06
There's only one admin id. The second --admin parameter will override the first one.
For the marshals just add their id's using --marshal <id>.

Re: mxserver-2010-02-06
Alright, i got the server working and i can connect with 127.0.0.1 no problem.
I went to whatsmyip.com and it says my IP is 76.4.115.104
People should be able to conect to that IP right?
But nobody can connect to it, and i cant figure out why....

Re: mxserver-2010-02-06
Do you have your port set to something other than 19800?
You might also have to forward 19800 or whatver you are using on your router
