here is the location on google maps or earth in canada 43.551721, -79.880992 you should see the track... i tried to toggle tarrain in sketch up and it just stays flat maby the other program google earth i tried and it didnt have a place to download the data so idk wtf im doing now

I cant watch the videos obviously but I think you are trying to UVW map. You have to add a UVW modifier then select planar then select x or y and fit.
