Best computer performance

Post by mxer223 »

I have 4.0 ghz and 502 mb of ram and I'm going to upgrade my computer and I was wondering if upgrading my ram to like 2 gb or 1 gb would make a big difference in mxs and programs like that or if I should do somthing else

i have 2 gbs no yes its a big difference cause i was at what you were but im going to 6 gbs of ram cause on the newer tracks its getting harder again. you can get a 2 pack of 2 GBS sticks for around a 100.00 as long as your mother board can handle it. also whats your graphics card cause cards and ram go hand and hand.

Download Pc Wizard 2010, then you can see all the components you have in your computer, and what temps you're running, its a really neat program.

ya that is a good one crucial also told me good stuff to. point is if your ram is that low then thats a big problem and to if your card is just what comes in a destop when you buy it then you need to upgrade im running ATI HD which aint the best but it plays it all full and smooth but then you need the ram to push it so if you can do 4 Gbs for 100 like i said youl be fine. plus nowing what kinda ram you have like DDR or DDR2 or DDR3

Ye, in the end your computer will only be as fast as your slowest component.

50% cpu and memory usage?
And is this during gaming, or when you're just staring at your desktop?
You can PM me in dutch if you want, maybe I can help.

is you operating system a 32 bit or 64 bit cause on 32 you can only us 3.5 gbs of memory no matter what so you need 64 bit to run 6 or more
