Hey br, very good work. Not everyone has to dl it though. If the track maker includes it in the respected track folder then you don't have to dl it.

I'm pretty sure no one wants to add 20MB to their track.

You might want to try Arbaro.

I wish BR would have told us those were stolen GPL licensed trees. I don't even understand how you can legally distribute them under GPL terms since they don't give you a copyright notice to include with it.

I always wondered what you used to render your billboards. Do they always render in grayscale though?

I might start using a tree making script in blender, and rendering billboards using that.

It's been a while since I've used Arbaro. I think it let you set the color separately for the leaves, twigs, branches and trunk. If it doesn't you could always edit the pov file it generates.

Here's a test one (feel free to use it anyone). They are dead easy to make. Just use the gen3 script and just assign colours/textures to the objects. They are already unwrapped. Wouldnt recommend the models for track usage, very high poly.

Excuse me for being totally daft (blender n00b) but I can't get the script to run in blender...and when I do, I won't know how to make a billboard out of it anyway....
