Rock Set

Post by DJ99X »

Whipped these up today. The set includes 3 medium size rocks (with a few surrounding little rocks), 2 large rocks, and 6 different textures/normal maps.

These do not include any collision files, as I could not be bothered making them.

You can use any texture for any rock model.

If you want to make your own rock texture, make it tileable (ie no seams when it tiles), then follow this tutorial to make the normal map. Naming these textures are pretty much explained by the textures included in this pack.

I'll probably release another pack in the next week or so, with smaller rocks that have collisions.

To whoever is placing objects on Checkerzzzz track: I'd recommend using texture 1 and 2

Outstanding job DJ as usual.....One thing this games needs is more objects...If one person just focused on making them and pump them out ..They would become a god in a short period...We need another albert 65

I can usually make good track objects in a short amount of time. Its just that I also like doing stuff other than track objects.

very nice DJ. What's the poly count on them? I have been trying to come up with ideas for scenery for my track and these may do the trick. NIce work :D
