I think I remember Wake's saf creator having trouble with multiple folder paths. If its still not working, you may have to saf it with JLV's python script
I've .safed tracks with jlv's python script and even that doesn't handle subfolders inside the track.
It works for me with jlv's python script. I've had subfolders in the saf's on all my tracks.

Weird. Did you have to do anything to the .saf after using the python script to make it work?

Nope. Just ran the script from the command line according to the instructions. My guess is that it's somehow os-related as I'm on linux and seem to be the only one not having a problem with this...

I just did a test then. I had it set out like this:

folder>folder2>folder3>folder4>crf250.png

This is what I got back:

Script: folder\folder2\folder3\folder4/crf250.png
Wake's Saf Creator: folder/folder/folder2/folder3/crf250.png
Wake's Saf Creator (with strip path): folder/folder2/folder3/crf250.png

So, obviously there is a bug with the saf creator. They both skipped folder4, and the run without stripping had a duplicate "folder".

Make sure you done have any spaces in the folder name, and make sure you keep capital letters consistent, as they could potentially cause problems

You should use forward slashes instead of backslashes when you use the script. I should probably make it replace them automatically.

Your script automatically did that.. This is what I had

Code: Select all

python saf.py folder foldertest.saf

Looks like nothing gets it right on Windows then. I've updated the script to always convert backslashes to slashes.

You have to take out the jbsc folder from the folder that you first download and put it in your personal folder.

What does everyone think of the track now that they have had a few weeks to play around with it.

this track is gnarly as fuck, 5th pinned in some sections, really tough to put consistent laps on though. Amazing how new lines just pop up the faster you go on the track.

Whats everyone's best time?

No, you move the jbsc folder that is in the first folder that you downloaded and extracted. When that is in your personal folder you will be able to see everything on the track in the game.
