Have multiple spare pipes, plastics, parts, etc.
Bought new, raced 1 season, less than 10 hours since.
As obvious, regular maintenance.

The amount of megapixels has little to do with image quality. The 1dx is priced where it is because it's all weather sealing, it's blazing fast focusing, very little to no noise in higher ISOs compared to the 5d, and a bunch of other things. Unless you've either won the lottery or have some money to blow, I'd just go with the mkiii

3500?!?!?!?!? My 07 with 50 or so hours on it will go for an easy 4200 where I live! Wow, prices are waaaay more different in Canada than I thought they were...
