Are you sure the power supply is too small? I can't find what it is on newegg but i doubt HP made a computer with a power supply that cannot run everything to its highest potential.

In the reviews on newegg, someone had said that the graphics card needs a 500 watt, the computer only has a 460. So it runs hot, which reduces the life of my card, correct?

Sorry for double, I just found this on Bing. I think its true, but just gonna post it here to get a forsure answer. (Like it said, he has a 430 watt, I have a 460. So if it works on his, it should work on mine.)

Thats absolutely not true. Wattage really doesnt matter too much. What really matters, in terms of graphics cards, is the amperage on the 12v rails.
