kawasaki is the best handling bike ive ever dieen except for there 60
ive ridden every 80 but the yamaha and the power is just smoother on the kx
ive ridden a kx 125 once i can really compare that to other bikes but it was fun and it seemed to turn nice for me barely being able to reach the foot pegs

Didn't see Maico on the list so I put Husqvarna. Always had extreme low-end and a powerband that feels, quite literally, like an afterburner from a fighter jet. Long accepted as the king of the California desert (how did Sweden make that?) but still renowned for great handling and unyielding durability. Huskies are not called Huskies for nothing, a good ol' '72 Husqvarna could probably take an assault by baseball bat without a dent.
Of course, I'm only speaking for the bikes of olde, if I had to choose a modern bike it'd be a KTM 250 two-stroke, though I see no reason to buy a modern bike.

Give me more power.
Give me more handling.
Give me more style.
Give me more Maico.

I've ridden all of the '08 450 Jap bikes. Its hard to pick a favorite, I can tell you its not the Yamaha though. Its really a toss up between the other 3, the Kawasaki defiantly turns the best, the Suzuki was suspended the best, and I liked Honda's motor the best, it was so linear. I guess if I had to pick a strong point on the Yamaha I'd say it had the best brakes, too bad the motor is so weak you'll never need 'em, LOL!
If I had to pick one for the sake of the poll I'd say Honda, that's what I've ridden since 2002. I've heard horror stories about transmissions locking up in Kawasaki's and not being covered by any warranty, and likewise with Suzuki. Honda seems to be the most willing to bite the bullet when they screw something up, so for that's one reason I keep buying bikes from them. KTM is totally out of the question because the parts are more expensive here, and harder to come by.

Ive borrowed a ktm 450exc (when i was riding enduro)
And i can tell you, that suspension... <3<3<3<3
2feet logs and rocks, it was like riding on sand, it just plowed through everything. I was even faster on that 450 than on my 125sx.
Now Im riding honda, but im changing to ktm soon, Ktm will forever be in my heart
If they didnt excist i would probly go for honda.

its WP suspension, if you dont calibrate it, or do it wrong, its the worst suspension you can have, but, if you do a good calibration, OMG <3<3<3<3frederick wrote:Ive borrowed a ktm 450exc (when i was riding enduro)

and the shock, its diferent than all the jap bikes, japans shock when it compress, it go off the bike, if you fall a jump short, it digg into the ground and you can crash, the ktm shock is horizontal, it is always into the bike, so its difficult it digg into the ground. my opinion, anyway, u dont have to buy new suspensions to a KTM. of course if you are Tommy Searle hehe
