KX60 Pitbike

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

KX60 Pitbike

I know it is goony but I just got a 94 kx 60 to use as a pitbike because I didnt want to spend $7,000 on modding a 50 to make it fast. To get to the point, I just bought some over sized Pro Taper bars and I was wondering what else I should get. The bike is already fast enough for a pit bike so I dont need motor work. Also, the front fender and number plate look terrible so I was wondering if anyone could find restyled ones. Would the KLX110L front fender fit? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

Whats the point, all you need for a pitbike is to get you from point A to point B.

You need a 4 stroke, since you will foul plugs all day putting around on that.
Or a little more mild 2 stroke like a pw80

I think spending some time and getting it jetted properly would be a more effective fix.

A 60cc engine pulling a probably 170lb person (assuming you're an adult) plus a hot spark plug = spark knock and hole in the piston should you ever take it out and run it hard on a warm day.

Nah man, im 16 and 140lbs. Thing runs great.

This^ If its properly jetted for your riding style it should not foul plugs unless you're using too much oil which i doubt.

Should be a sick pitbike. I have a cr80 big wheel as my playbike. But I'm only 140 lbs so I can do a lot of the same jumps on it as on my yz250.

Eventually you might want stiffer springs front and rear. Perhaps an exhaust that enhances torque. But I doubt you wanna put much money into it. Just ride the piss out of it and, on tracks without big jumps, you should be able to pass people on big bikes.
