He said "~17 years". Meaning any number before 17. Guess what, 6 is before 17.
To express "anything below 17" you should use <17 and not ~17

was supposed to go do a practice today, but nope. Sinuses had to fuck me over and start dumping blood. And then when I wake up the 2nd time, I feel somewhat better. But it poored rain. So the practice got cancelled. Sweet. Won't be riding until saturday.

Educate yourself.
"This symbol (in English) sometimes means "approximately", such as "~30 minutes ago" meaning "approximately 30 minutes ago". It can mean "similar to", including "of the same order of magnitude as", such as x ~ y" meaning that x and y are of the same order of magnitude. Another approximation symbol is ≈, meaning "approximately equal to."

Has anyone here ever ridden the Hatfield McCoy Trails? I'm not a trail rider but I'm thinking about going over there tomorrow or thursday.

Re: MXS Twitter
Do it. Trail riding is fun, and really helps me with racing. I find I have a lot more bike control from riding in the trails. Then again, the trails I ride are bar wide, steep, rooted out, and have lots of logs across. That's probably why my balance is so good.

Thats the trails I like. I'm hoping it isn't wide open four wheeler paths. From what I'm reading it looks good.
