My bike
My dads bike
All I have to do is number both of them. I'm probably just going to keep the Prospect logos because I don't want a lot of logos, that might ruin the design. I am also making a KTM and soon a 2011 Husky

Re: Real Graphics
It's the yellow plates that screw me up on yours, but they look sick, If I were you I'd put rear fender logos atleast, it makes it look plain without them

Re: Real Graphics
FAMmx Design
I've been working hard for a long time trying to bring FAMmx Design to real life and i'm super excited to say that my dream is soon to be a reality. I have no clue how big it will get but even if it ends up just being a local thing for me, that's fine. I love designing anything motocross related and to be able to have the opportunity to produce and sell graphics at any level is a dream come true.
While this has always been my dream I have all of the Mx Simulator community to thank. I knew I always wanted to design graphics but it wasn't until Mx Simulator where I was able to actually make a set and see them on a bike that other people could use and review. With all of the comments and critiques I've received, I believe my designs have improved a great deal since my first release.
The modelers in the community make it possible for most graphic designers who want to design motocross graphics to see their kits on a bike for the first time. I know the templates aren't the same and the bikes aren't 100% identical but if you look at the picture below, Mx Simulator to Real life, they are close enough to learn a lot from working with these models.
And beyond bikes, we are able to design gear, helmets, models, etc. So many different things to help people start working towards their dreams but in a virtual world.
It's just cool to have what we have here at Mx Simulator and if FAMmx were to ever blow up - going back to it's roots, it all started right here.
For all of that and more, Thank you Mx Simulator!
Here are some pictures and a video. (Click on the images for full size)
In order from Top, Left to Right:
1. Website Homepage Preview (Not very exciting yet)
2. Some FAMmx Stickers
3. Graphics coming out of the printer. (Full Printing Process and Application Video below.)
4. Tank Name Decals for friends on MXS In Plotter
5. Sharp Series on Bobby Bonds' Honda CRF450
6. My Pitbike and big bike with matching F2 Series Graphics
7. Go Pro Wrap
8. Preview of 4 Semi Custom Graphic Kits
9. Preview of 3 Mini Plate Series Decals
10. Preview of 8 Novelty Decals
11. Pitbike and Big bike rear fender picture. Kinda funny to look at having the same graphics on two different bikes.
12. Mx Simulator to Real Life Graphics
Full Printing and Application Process Video

Re: Real Graphics
Thanks for the free kx and crf templates! (if I actually wanted/needed/didn't want to pay for them)
Re: Real Graphics
That's awesome Blake! and looking good Tyler and Jt!
ddmx i don't think they're big enough to be able to image trace, look good and be the right size irl lol
Here are some bikes that I have finished and printed.
Korey's kx250f
My brother and step brother's ttr230 and ttr125 (same kit, different numbers)
Cody Schat's crf250
And some that I am working on now.
Korey's yz250, i'm not a fan of the colours but he likes them.
and Braiden's, he is getting all white plastics and wants plain black and white graphics, it's tough haha

Re: Real Graphics
For each plastic I individually stretch it a bit and scale it different. So if you were to try and match them up it would at least be a hassle haha.ddmx wrote:Thanks for the free kx and crf templates! (if I actually wanted/needed/didn't want to pay for them)

Re: Real Graphics
And thanks Scott for the comment. Those bikes are looking sick too. If I ever get lucky enough to need to hire another designer the Mx Sim community isn't a bad place to start.
