How do you change the color of plastics?

Post by IanGroganFMX »

I've watched what few Youtube tutorials there are about skin editing, but they're 2 or more years old at this point. I just want to know how to be able to change the color of plastics for rear fenders and what not. Can someone give me the list of steps to do this? I have a decent knowledge of Photoshop. Thanks for the help!

1. Select the layer with the plastics

2. Use a paint bucket or color overlay to change the color of the plastics

I've tried that, but for some it colors the entire psd file with all of the shocks and forks and everything else.

Sounds like you're on the wrong layer, then.
