Ok doing shading firstly, it takes a shit load of time to get perfect, but first you needa picture of the bike in your case a crf 250peters146 wrote:well that pic looks retarted.

Your gonna wonna use a grey as your background so that you are able to see it on both black and white colours *note no bike uses pure black or pure white so if it looks retarted on pure black and pure white just make it a realy dark grey or a realy light grey (if you get what i mean)
Shading does not have panels of light unless the object was completly flat with squared edges (in your case of shading)
You need to replicate every highlight where the light shines of certain points, im not the best at it but i think i did a pritty good job on the rmz 250 shading, download that and see how many layers i had to use and how ive made the shading, anyway it takes practise you dont get it after one try, so keep practising !

DJ, i was wondering what program do you use for making normal maps?

From what I understand, you either make it from an HD model to put on an SD model or you create a disp map in PS and use the NVIDIA normal map plug-in.

On the first set, the Fox logo seems a little bit too big. It does look pretty good though.
