Re: Preview Pic (Blender)
What exactly is wrong?
If you mean the pink model:
Look to the right of the button that says "Object Mode", at the weird green circle icon. It means that the model is in Textured Mode. Click the icon, and go to Solid Mode.

Re: Preview Pic (Blender)
1. Download this rider model: http://mxsimulator.com/benchracing3/vie ... 30#p174136
2. Open the file in blender and select (with right click) the rider model. He will have a pink outline around him.
3. Press Tab, to enter edit mode. press "a" a couple of times until all the vertices are selected (lit up yellow)
4. Go to that little button in the bottom left that looks like a grid. Select UV mode. press "a" a couple times until everything
5. Go to image > open > browse and select your skin
6. Go back to the 3d mode (bottom left button) and then switch the view mode to Textured. (Look next to where it says Edit mode, it should say either Solid, Shaded, Wireframe, or Textured. You want textured.)
7. Press Tab to exit Edit mode, and admire the beauty.

Also, Have a quick read through this. It will help a little with applying your texture. If you go through this quick tutorial, it will acquaint you with blender a bit and you'll figure it out.

Darn you wheels, I got all of this written before I noticed :

Basically, you just follow these steps:
1) Open file
2) Select rider model
3) Go to "Edit Mode"
4) On the right side screen, it should show the wireframe for the model. At the bottom of that screen, click "Image > Open", and pick your skin.
5) Go back to Object Mode
Re: Preview Pic (Blender)
thanks a lot... nearly everything works but... how can i hide the grid on the model?

Re: Preview Pic (Blender)
Hmm, I dont understand why it is still showing up. If you are in object mode, and have nothing selected, it shouldn't be visible. Tim Ferry will have to help on that one, I'm not at home and dont have blender here at work, sorry :/
Re: Preview Pic (Blender)
Do you mean the flat xyz grid? I don't know of a way to get rid of it, so I'd just move your model up high enough to where you can't see the grid.
