Who will beat the Belgians?
It all depends on who gets elected, but with already 2 full Belgian podiums in the MXGP class it seems like they're as a titledefender the biggest favorite once again. Their main rivals are like always the USA and also Germany can put a strong team together, especially on the bigger bikes. Or can France finally put a great result on the mxdn?
Another team that has MX2 issues is Italy. The Italian federation just announced their team and the Italian team will have on the MX1 bike, Davide Guarneri, MXopen David Phillipaerts and Antonio Cairoli will ride in the MX2 class!
I am already looking forward to it!

Team France
MX1: Gautier Paulin
MX2: Dylan Ferrandis
MXO: Steven Frossard
No Tixier, Musquin, Pourcel??? I mean ... Ferrandis ... for real??? I'm gonna quote myself from last year...

The countdown has began. The first mxdn team got released and from the first second it is like the mxdn's itself. Hectic.
Team france decided to put Paulin on the MX1, Tixier on the MX2 and Charlier on the MXOpen. That means that Musquin can stay home and can pay 15 euros to see it in HD on mx-life.tv
If I was French, I would be pissed!
Seriously, when is someone going to kill the French team manager?

Went to Thunder Valley MXDN back in 2010. Without a doubt the greatest sporting event I have ever been to!
So that leaves Strijbos and Van Horebeek (who just injured his face today by coming up short on the Simpson leap). And MX2? Lieber just gave his resignation with Suzuki. But maybe his team for next year steps in then?
Or Like in St Jean with a local "amateur" who get's a solid top-15 in each moto.
Or Brent V Doninck, he's not bad either.
Looks like the rest of the world will have a shot at it aswel.
